Construction Foreman

A. Lindberg & Sons Inc. seeks to fill a full-time opening for a Foreman in Civil Construction and Earthwork Projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise crew and track labor and equipment hours
• Ability to keep neat and accurate construction records and field notes
• Supervise pipelaying, road building, sitework, and other projects
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
• Basic surveying, grade checking, and machine control use
• Understanding of MDOT standard specifications and plans
• Attend and participate in weekly progress meetings
• Ability to learn, follow, and promote all company safety policies as well as OSHA, MIOSHA, and MSHA regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite
• Work in conjunction and as a team with all employees.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of 40 pounds etc.)
• Ability to work in all environmental conditions for 10 or more hours a day, 5-6 days per week.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 5 years of relevant construction experience
• Experience working on MDOT and/or local municipality projects
• Valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
• Ability to work in all environmental conditions for 10 or more hours a day, 5-6 days per week.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
